🌸 A Message From Sofia – Founder of Eimora Florist Studio 🌸

As a survivor of workplace sexual assault, my life changed in ways I never imagined.

The trauma left me living with PTSD, anxiety, isolation, and months spent in a mental health hospital. 

There were days when simply getting out of bed felt impossible.

 I wasn't searching for a magnificent destiny or extraordinary success.

I was searching for something much smaller.

A reason to wake up each morning.
A reason to step outside.
A reason to believe that tomorrow might still hold something beautiful.

That reason became flowers.

Each stem I wrapped and every bouquet I arranged became a small act of healing. Through flowers, I slowly learned how to reconnect with the world, find moments of peace, and create beauty again.

Every bouquet that leaves Eimora Florist Studio carries a simple message:

Before founding Eimora Florist Studio, our founder built a successful corporate career grounded in analytical thinking, leadership, and strategic decision-making. Her academic journey includes an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, a Master of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), and an MBA.

🌸 Inspired by a deeper purpose to support human well-being, she redirected her expertise toward mental health and creative healing. Today, she combines her strong professional background with a formal Floristry Certification and a Certificate IV in Mental Health, creating a unique approach that blends science, strategy, compassion, and artistry.

🌸 At Eimora, we believe flowers are more than beautiful arrangements—they are meaningful experiences that connect people, celebrate milestones, and create lasting memories.

🌸 We are proud to specialise in floral design for a wide range of occasions, including weddings, birthdays, graduations, gender reveal celebrations, anniversaries, corporate functions, private events, memorial ceremonies, and community gatherings.

🌸 This purpose inspires every aspect of our design philosophy. As part of our commitment to sustainability and the principles of a circular economy, we proudly rescue pre-loved flower pots, vases, and artistic accessories from local charity shops such as Savers, Salvos, Lifeline Shop, and Vinnies.

🌸 Rather than allowing beautiful items to end up in landfill, we thoughtfully restore, repurpose, and reimagine them into meaningful floral displays. By extending the life of these treasures, we reduce waste, support local charities, and give materials a second chance to tell a new story.

🌸 No Industrial Refrigeration: We bypass energy-heavy cooler rooms to eliminate environmental strain. Flowers come fresh from local fields, ensuring they are naturally vibrant and zero-waste.

🌸 Plastic-Free Delivery: Traditional single-use plastics are eliminated. Arrangements are wrapped in natural paper and delivered in paper bags.

🌸 100% Biodegradable Mechanics: Essential moisture packaging uses biodegradable plastic that fully breaks down. Structures are held together using sustainable, biodegradable floral foam to safeguard the planet.

People often ask about the story behind the name Eimora.

The answer is deeply personal.

Eimora is simply my name, Romie, spelled in reverse.

When I was searching for a name for this studio, I wanted something that reflected transformation, healing, and the possibility of beginning again. Reversing my name felt symbolic of the journey I had been through—a life that had changed direction, a story that was being rewritten, and a person learning how to rebuild after trauma.

Eimora represents more than a business.

It represents resilience after hardship.
Beauty after darkness.
Growth after loss.
And hope after despair.

Just as flowers bloom again with each new season, Eimora reminds me that healing is possible, even when life takes an unexpected path.

The Eimora logo was thoughtfully designed to tell a story of healing, transformation, and renewal.
